- Step 1: Prepare your paper. Use a square sheet of origami paper. Choose paper with a color suitable for your project. Place the colored side facing up before you begin.
- Step 2: Make basic creases. Start by folding the paper in half diagonally or straight (depending on the diagram) to create a central crease, then unfold. Press firmly to make sharp creases.
- Step 3: Observe and fold according to the diagram. Following the dashed lines on the diagram (valley fold, mountain fold), fold the corners and edges of the paper inward or backward one by one. Pay attention to keeping the paper edges perfectly aligned.
