π Folding Steps
- Step 1: Prepare the paper. Use a square sheet of origami paper. You should choose paper with a suitable color for your creation. Place the colored side facing up before starting.
- Step 2: Create the basic crease. Start by folding the paper in half diagonally or straight (depending on the diagram) to create a central crease, then unfold. Press firmly to make the crease sharp.
- Step 3: Observe and fold according to the diagram. Following the dashed lines on the diagram (valley fold, mountain fold), fold the corners and edges of the paper inwards or backwards, one by one. Pay attention to keeping the paper edges perfectly aligned.
- Step 4: Shape and finalize. Adjust the final corners and edges, gently pull out any hidden folded parts to create volume or shape the artwork. Crease all folds one last time.
