π Folding Steps
- Step 1: Prepare your paper. Use a square sheet of origami paper. Choose paper with a color suitable for your finished model. Place the colored side facing up before you begin.
- Step 2: Create a basic crease. Start by folding the paper in half diagonally or straight (depending on the diagram) to create a central crease, then unfold. Crease firmly to ensure sharp folds.
- Step 3: Observe and fold according to the diagram. Following the dashed lines on the diagram (valley fold, mountain fold), fold the corners and edges of the paper inwards or backwards, one by one. Pay attention to keep the paper edges perfectly aligned.
- Step 4: Shape and finish. Adjust the final corners and edges, gently pull out any hidden creases to create volume or shape the model. Firmly press all creases one last time.
