- Step 1: Prepare your paper. Use a square sheet of origami paper. You should choose paper with colors suitable for your creation. Place the colored side facing up before you begin.
- Step 2: Make basic creases. Start by folding the paper in half diagonally or straight (depending on the diagram) to create a central crease, then unfold. Crease firmly to ensure sharp folds.
- Step 3: Observe and fold according to the diagram. Following the dashed lines in the diagram (valley fold, mountain fold), fold the corners and edges of the paper inward or backward, one by one. Pay attention to keep the edges perfectly aligned.
