- Step 1: Prepare the paper. Use a square sheet of origami paper. You should choose a paper color suitable for your creation. Place the colored side facing up before you begin.
- Step 2: Create basic creases. Start by folding the paper in half diagonally or straight (depending on the diagram) to create a center crease, then unfold. Crease firmly to make sharp folds.
- Step 3: Observe and fold according to the diagram. Following the dashed lines on the diagram (valley fold, mountain fold), fold the corners and edges of the paper inward or backward, one by one. Pay attention to keeping the paper edges perfectly aligned.
